Interested in one-on-one or small group writing lessons? I teach creative writing to both adults and children. Creative writing is an activity accessible to all ages and skill levels. I even teach English to ELL students using creative writing and it's a blast!

I believe in teaching writing in a way that embraces all writers' styles and passions. Too many higher level courses reinforce the idea that there is a "superior" form of writing. My goal is to create a safe, judgement-free space where students can embrace their interests and talents while continuing to grow their writing skills. My teaching focus is on structure and literary devices, not on content, so that writers can feel free to pursue whatever subject they are passionate about.
