Patreon Bookmarks – Microfiction Monday

Patreon Bookmarks – Microfiction Monday

This Micro-fiction Monday we get to celebrate with a treasure trove of mixed media. I missed last Wednesday’s watercolor post because the project was a surprise gift for my Patreon supporters. I wanted to make sure that the first time they saw them was when they received their gifts. Today I get to post both a photo of the bookmarks as well as share the haiku poems that were written on the back!

When I was deciding what patterns I wanted to paint on the bookmarks I felt moved to generally go with a summer influenced theme. I hope the designs give off the kind of carefree lightness that comes with the beginning of summer time.

Bookmark Haikus

The haiku that went on the back of the bookmark with the orange, blue, and purple bubbles.

Want to see a dream? See the bubbles in the scope? That’s the universe.

The haiku that went on the back of the bookmark with the abstract shapes in pastel pink, yellow, and green.
